Some features of Electracash\'s eCheck services were designed to meet the needs of particular types of merchants. These options are not relevant for every merchant, but are useful to many.


Password Administration / Website Access Management (optional)

The Electracash Password Administration Interface is a robust website access management tool.   The interface enables merchants to provide log-in capabilities to its users, requiring unique User ID\'s and passwords.   It is particularly useful for merchants with recurring customers and/or subscription-based services.  

This easy-to-integrate specification is designed for merchants of all sizes. It consists of one standard HTTP POST to a URL of the merchant\'s choice. For more information, ask your Electracash Sales Representative for the Electracash Password Management Manual.


Additional Consumer Fraud Controls (optional)

In addition to account number validation, proprietary fraud control measures, and Internet and payment data security, Electracash continues to invest in new technologies to enhance merchant and consumer security for Internet check usage. The optional features available for consumer fraud control are:

  • User Authentication – to help ascertain that the user is who he claims to be. Find out more.
  • Age Verification – to help ascertain that the user meets age requirements established by the merchant. Find out more.
  • SignatureSafe – to help prevent “friendly” consumer fraud. Find out more.

Dedicated Customer Call Center (optional)

Electracash provides Customer Call Center services for merchants choosing to outsource this function to us. This service is particularly useful for subscriptions-based merchants. Electracash Customer Service Representatives are available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on normal business days. (Customers calling outside these hours are asked to leave a message and are contacted first thing the next business day.) Customers can reach Electracash’s Customer Call Center via:

  • Toll-free (U.S. only) telephone number
  • E-mail

When a merchant opts for these services, Electracash’s phone number is provided on the customer’s bank statement, alongside the name of the merchant. For those merchants choosing Electracash’s Customer Call Center services, the following services are provided:

  • Transaction refunds
  • Membership refunds
  • Membership cancellations
  • Adding the account to the negative data base.

When Electracash receives calls for merchants that have not chosen to use our Customer Call Center, our representatives will provide the appropriate customer service number to your customer.
