In this section, you will learn about the Gateway Options relating to both ACH eChecks and Electracash's Check21 Service.
API's
XML
The Electracash gateway merchant interface is designed to provide sophisticated merchants an opportunity to fully automate the integration of their existing e-commerce systems with Electracash’s internal billing management system. This API is an XML-based interface for real-time and/or batch processing. It offers seamless integration with the merchant’s shopping cart and is hosted by the merchant. The Electracash API is integrated to securely access the Electracash system to send and receive data. For a complete guide, ask your Electracash sales representative for the Electracash XML Gateway Integration Specifications Manual.
CSV
The Electracash Gateway Comma Delimited Interface provides the merchant with another option to easily send transactions. The data transmitted between the merchant and Electracash is in CSV format and is flexible enough to accept one transaction or a thousand transactions at a time. For complete information about this implementation, please ask your Electracash sales representative for the Electracash Gateway CSV Specifications Manual.
Electracash Managed Service
Electracash's Managed Payment Page service offers Check Debit acceptance via a link on the merchant's site that activates a payment page hosted by Electracash. Reporting via the Electracash merchant site is included. The Electracash Payment form is used for fixed price points only. Each URL link provided to the merchant is attached with Query String Variables that are distinguished from the other products.
Companies that want to process checks efficiently and with minimal effort will want to use the Electracash Managed Service. With this option, the merchant can receive electronic checks for a variety of payment needs. Businesses that bill recurring payments, sell online and offline services, or simply want a better process than accepting paper checks, love this easy option, as:
- There are no forms to build -- the check payment form is built & hosted by Electracash
- Online reporting of itemized transactions, transaction volume, and returned checks is provided
- Customized reporting can be available
To view an example of the Electracash Managed Service/hosted pay page, please see our Managed Page Demonstration: Managed Page Demonstration. Ask your Electracash sales representative for the Electracash Managed Service Specifications for more detailed information.
Electracash Virtual Terminal
A Virtual Terminal implementation is one in which the merchant enters the customer’s payment data onto the Internet on behalf of the customer. It is primarily designed to be used by merchants who sell products and collect payments over the phone, by mail, or at a physical point of sale. It is a unique URL link providing a terminal that resides on Electracash’s server which is completely unique, secure (SSL), and password-protected. This link provides an instant turnkey payment approval system that a merchant’s CSR’s can use immediately.
